A popular ad slogan says "The mind is a terrible thing to waste."   The real waste is the time we don't put our brain to use learning from the mind.

The mind was created by God in His image, and is perfect, and wholly untouchable by anything physical.  It is a self contained aspect of the spirit world to be used as our guide in this lifetime.

The mind and the brain are two, separate and distinct entities.
The brain is physical, the mind is spiritual.
